Welcome!
I guess this is the beginning. And it’s about fucking time!
I’ve been thinking about, planning and pining over this idea for years. Always putting it on the back burner when more important life events show up and take over. There always seems to be something that comes up and knocks us off our goals.
It’s been years of just getting by, just surviving, just doing what I need to make ends meet. I’m rundown, exhausted and more than a little defeated. The world has been hard the past few years. Sometimes really hard. I’m sure you’ve felt it too.
There’s still a lot of life stuff going on. So. Much. Life. Stuff. A lot of it big, life changing life stuff. Depressing life stuff. Things were starting to get pretty dark for a bit there. I needed to find something creative to focus on. Something positive to work on while the rest of my world changes.
So here we are! Starting the gaming blog I’ve been talking about for years. My goal is for this to be a fun passion project. This will be where I keep track of the games I’ve played while I do some streaming and share clips. It’s also where I will document my new coding journey. I’m making this online journal for me, but I always have a spare comfy chair, cozy blanket and some tea (or stronger!) if you want to join.
I’m still getting setup so there’s lots to do before this site is completely functional. This page and my CV, etc. will be an ongoing work in progress while I focus on life, work, & study. The game & coding blogs will also take priority. If you have an opportunity to discuss please feel free to reach out using the contact form. I don’t use many socials but will add the ones I do as time permits. I appreciate your patience!
I’m ready to do more than survive. I want to thrive! I want to live and learn and grow in so many areas. I want to play games, stretch professionally, meet new people and have fun along the way!
