Well, it’s Friday. I made it through the work week and I’m ready to relax. The controller & headset are charged. Jammies are on. Food is on its way. Joint is rolled. Get the picture?
Friday night is the one night every week where all the healthy eating, rules, etc. go out the window. I chill with my friends online, eat too much food and smoke too much pot. It’s the time for me to zone out from life’s stresses and welcome the weekend. Let’s face it… it’s the best time of the week!
The second best time of the week is after everyone else goes offline and this night owl is still awake. I take one last puff, switch to the PS4 in the bedroom, snuggle up in bed with an overfull belly and enjoy some solo gaming time. High AF.
This is the time I like to go through smaller indie games, story mode or single player games. This is quality me time where I drop into my favourite worlds and work my way through new games.
I’ll be streaming or saving game footage to share as way to document the games I play. If you stop by a stream don’t be surprised if I’m rambling away or completely silent. It will just depend on how the smoke hits that night!

This is ABZU. An adventure game developed by Giant Squid Studios and published by 505 Games. It was released on all major platforms in 2016.
This is the second time I’ve played this game so it’s not a blind playthrough. The first time I took my time & managed almost 95% completion. This time, it ended up being a quick, almost speed run, of the game late one Friday night. I missed a lot of the objectives. Instead it was a chill swim through the world. I spent time releasing aquatic life & making friends, while enjoying the graphics.
I highly recommend this game for all ages. There are a few tense moments but nothing too scary.
I love this one so much I’m sure I’ll play it again and again. There’s something very serene and calming about it that I can’t let go of. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!
